Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

 

Per the current school security guidelines,

parents/guardians are not permitted to enter the school building.

 

PARKING

Please exercise caution, as well as civility, when driving onto parish property.

Park your car only in designated parking spaces.

 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES

SHOULD YOU STAND OR PARK ALONGSIDE THE TEIBROOK AVENUE DRIVEWAY

OR IN FRONT OF THE RECTORY GARAGES.

 

 

Sunday Classes (10:30 AM to 11:45 AM)

 

Students attending the 9:30 Family Mass walk from the Church to the school building accompanied by the Director.  If your student does not attend the 9:30 Family Mass, drop him/her off at the "Early Childhood" entrance of the school.

 

Grades 1, 2, 3:      On arrival, students gather in the Cafeteria.  Catechists walk their groups upstairs to the Classrooms.  At dismissal, the Catechists walk their groups downstairs and wait with them outside of the “Early Education” doors for parent pick-up.

 

Grades 4, 5, 6:      On arrival, students report directly to their Classrooms.  At dismissal, the Catechists walk their groups downstairs and wait with them outside of the “Religious Education” doors for parent pick-up. 

 

 

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Classes (4:15 PM to 5:30 PM)

 

Grades 1, 2, 3:      On arrival, parents drop off at the Church.  Catechists walk their groups over to the school building for class.  At dismissal, Catechists walk their groups downstairs and wait with them outside of the school building for parent pick-up.  Students in grades 1 and 2 will leave via the "Early Childhood" doors.  Students in grade 3 will leave via the "Religious Education" doors.

 

Grades 4, 5, 6:      On arrival, parents drop off at the school building.  Students report directly to their Classrooms.  At dismissal, parents pick up their students from the Church.

 

 

Monday Grade 7 (6:30 PM to 7:30 PM) and 8 Classes (7:00 PM to 8:00 PM)

 

Grades 7 and 8:    Students report directly to their Classrooms or the Church.  Dismissal is to the parking lot.

 

 

Students should arrive on time and be picked up on time.  If a parent is late at dismissal time, the child will wait in the Religious Education Office for Grades 1-3 or in the Church for Grades 4-6.

 

If a student will be picked up by someone other than his/her parent, write a permission note to the Catechist.  The note will be placed in the Catechist's folder.

 

Early pick-up MUST be arranged ahead of time with the Religious Education Office.  Please call the office as early as possible at 516-921-8543 x124.
