Mrs. Rosemary Pettei has been Director of Religious Education for Grades K through 6 here at St. Edward the Confessor since 2012.  She earned her Master's Degree in Theology from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington.  Her background includes Director of Religious Education at St. Barnabas the Apostle in Bellmore and Director of Family Ministry at Holy Name of Mary in Valley Stream.  Married to her high school sweetheart for more than forty years, Mrs. Pettei is a mother of five and grandmother to eight.

Mrs. Maureen Carroll has taught for St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School since 2006.  In 2024, in addition to her role as an SEC Teacher, she joined the Religious Education Program to serve as Director of the Grade 7 and 8 Confirmation Program.  Mrs. Carroll has taught Grades 1 and 2, Religion for Grades 5 through 8, English Language Arts, and Social Studies.  She also taught Religion for 7 years in her home Parish of St. Rose of Lima.  Mrs. Carroll earned a Masters in Communication Arts from Fordham University and a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Molloy College, where she also received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts with a Minor in Psychology.  Mrs. Carroll resides in Massapequa with her husband and twin children.

Mrs. Ann Braun, Administrative Assistant, joined St. Edward Religious Education in August of 2015.  She has held administrative positions in Religious Education programs since 2002, starting at St. Barnabas the Apostle in Bellmore with a move to St. Kilian in Farmingdale six years later.  She attended Briarcliffe College for Business and went on to earn her Associate in Arts Degree from Nassau Community College.  Mrs. Braun lives in Levittown with her husband.

Ms. Anderson joined St. Edward Religious Education in 2025 as Administrative Assistant for the Grade 7 and 8 Confirmation Program.  From SUNY Old Westbury, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Education for Adolescence in Biology.  In addition, Ms. Anderson teaches Middle School Science at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School.
